We've been busy turning your feature requests into reality. This month's updates are a direct result of conversations with our community, from power users pushing platform limits to new mapmakers showing us where we can make improvements for more clarity. Here’s what we’ve released this month:
Mappedin Platform
Set floors faster with new controls
We’ve refined the floor plan upload process and added the option to specify floor heights for your buildings. It’s now quicker and more intuitive to get your maps set up exactly how you need them – give it a try today.

Fresh themes for your maps
We’ve launched new aesthetic options for all mapmakers! Style your venue with three new options:
- Beach Please (default): light and welcoming
- Dark Roast: bold and modern
- Classic: simple and familiar
These themes make it easy to match your map’s look to your venue’s feel.

Import MVF packages into QGIS with ease
Our new QGIS plugin lets you bring MVF v3 packages straight into your GIS workflows. Import from local files or connect directly to the Mappedin API – no MVF know-how required. This makes setting up for QA and GIS projects smoother than ever.

August was just the warm-up. We've got some major announcements brewing for the fall that we think will fundamentally change how visitors interact and engage with your space. Keep the feedback coming, and stay tuned. The next few months are going to be exciting.
