Over the past several months, our team has been reimagining what wayfinding should look and feel like in 2025. Today, we're excited to pull back the curtain on a new Mappedin, a complete evolution of our platform that makes indoor navigation more intuitive, more useful, and more powerful than ever before.

Lead with intent
When visitors arrive at your venue, they're ready to act. They want specific stores, dining options, services, or amenities. The new homepage meets them where they are, surfacing the most relevant destinations and reducing the steps between intent and action.
By spotlighting top destinations, key categories, and live events, you guide visitors toward high-value locations and increase the likelihood they'll discover offerings they didn't even know they were looking for.

Map that match reality
We rebuilt how maps look in Mappedin so they actually represent your space.
Now you get realistic elevation changes, building facades, connecting bridges, and interior voids. Visitors can tell at a glance whether they're on ground level or three floors up.
The level selector adapts to any venue size with options that fit your space. We've switched to an ordinal system (Level 1, 2, 3) that's more compact and leaves more room for what matters: the map itself.
Labels work progressively as visitors explore. At the furthest zoom level, you'll see dots representing locations, inviting people to interact with the map. Zoom in and category labels, logos, and zones populate. Zoom further and individual location names appear.

Faster repeat searches
We added recently searched items so visitors don't have to retype the same thing twice.
Looking for a specific store, then checking where the restrooms are, then going back to that store? Your recent searches are right there. No retyping, no frustration.

Directions that makes sense
Our enhanced navigation system fixes that. Paths now render across multiple buildings and floors at once so visitors see their entire route in one view, even when it crosses parking garages or connects through multiple structures.
We replaced generic "turn left" instructions with landmark-based directions that reference recognizable points of interest. Visitors orient themselves using what's actually around them, which means fewer wrong turns and less backtracking.
An interactive slider tracks route completion based on actual distance traveled. Visitors know how far they've come and how far they have left, especially valuable during long walks across parking structures or between terminals. Visual markers highlight key points along the route like connections and security checkpoints.
The interface puts key actions where thumbs naturally rest. Ergonomic design optimizes the mobile experience, and the compact level selector keeps floor navigation clear without taking over the screen.

Unlock more for tenants

Rich header images and location-specific visuals replace generic icons, making every destination instantly recognizable and more appealing. During peak periods like special events or high-traffic seasons, promote featured locations with compelling imagery that captures attention and drives foot traffic.

Reliable Positioning
QR code wayfinding stations give visitors 100% accurate positioning with a single scan. No app required. No waiting for signal lock. Just instant, precise location awareness that lets them get directions, discover nearby amenities, and start moving confidently.
Their last scan is saved for quick reference, so updating their location as they move through your venue takes seconds. The easier you make it for people to know where they are, the more likely they are to explore further and spend more time in your space.
